## BondScanner

- BondScanner is an Online Bond Platform Provider (OBPP), run by a SEBI-registered stock broker and NSE member. It lets retail investors find, compare and buy listed bonds from a phone.
- Avinash architected the investment journey end to end: payment integrations, trade placement on NSE, settlement through the clearing corporation, and holdings, plus the inventory management system that decides which bonds can be sold.
- SEBI requires every order on an online bond platform to be routed through a stock exchange and settled by its clearing corporation, so the backend has to work with the exchange and the regulator's rules at every step.
- He built the engineering foundation from zero to one and leads the backend team: hiring, mentoring and delivery.
- BondScanner is a team's work. The mobile and web apps, and many features in them, were built by other engineers.
- Figures published by BondScanner as of October 2026: 1.2 lakh+ investors, Rs 125 crore+ in bonds transacted, a 4.7 App Store rating from 66 ratings, and 45% of investments from tier 2 and 3 cities.

## AI initiatives at work

- **Support bot**: watches the tech-support channel, classifies tickets, investigates real bugs and drafts a reply with root cause, fix and a verifying query. A cheap model investigates and a stronger model reviews. About $0.13 per answered ticket.
- **Shared agent skills**: one set of 12 skills installed across Claude Code, Codex CLI, pi and opencode.
- **SDLC workflow**: a seven-step path for every feature, written as a skill so AI tools follow it too.
- **API collections as code**: 1,288 API requests moved from 72 Postman collections into 5 git-tracked Bruno collections.
- **Session history**: redacted, searchable summaries of every AI coding session.
- **Secretariat**: a local memory for work (people, projects, tasks, reminders) reachable from any AI tool over MCP.
- **Story pages**: a design system for one-page pitches that read like a story.

## Career path

- **Tap Invest**, SDE 2, April 2024 to now. Designed the backend and backend-for-frontend layer for the server-driven apps ULTRA by Tap and Tap Bonds. Product owner of the Partner Platform.
- **Good Creator Co (The Good Glamm Group)**, Software Engineer, February 2022 to March 2024. Good Creator Co is the group's creator-marketing platform. Migrated its Ruby on Rails backend to Spring Boot and Go microservices, including live migrations of large PostgreSQL and MySQL tables. Owned the notification and product microservices (Zoho, Pipedrive, Slack, WhatsApp, email and WebEngage integrations). Automated campaigns: creator invites and shortlisting, voucher distribution, instant payouts, and a planner that forecasts reach and budget.
- **Deloitte**, Business Technology Analyst, July 2021 to February 2022. Compliance-driven Salesforce features (Aura, LWC) for the State of Colorado's benefits system.

- **gin**: a personal memory server in Rust (MCP, Postgres with pgvector, a live 3D memory scanner).
- **Morning bot**: writes a short daily brief of notable news and budget tracking.
